The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for ACCU911, LLC (referred to hereafter as “ACCU911” or “we”) website and mobile/tablet applications.
THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When a user (hereinafter referred to as “you” or the “user”) browses the ACCU911 website, the user does so anonymously. At the ACCU911 website, you can contact us for support. If you do request support, we may request that you voluntarily supply us with personally identifiable information. The types of personally identifiable information that may be collected at the website include: name, e-mail address, telephone number, and information you provide regarding our products and services.
ACCU911 will collect personally identifiable information from you if you register for the mobile/tablet application. ACCU911 will collect location data from you in order for emergency first responders to locate you more effectively in the event of an emergency. We will only share your location data with emergency first responders in the event you dial 9-11 and your employer/ school will also receive your location data if you are a registered user of the mobile/tablet application through your employer/school. The ACCU911 application and technology service only works when you, the user, dial 9-1-1. The ACCU911 application and technology service does not track your location at any other time. If you choose to enter supplemental data about yourself, including but not limited to confidential health data, ACCU911 will only provide this supplemental data information to the 9-1-1 operators so they have personal data about you such as your personal appearance, any medical conditions they should be aware of, and who to contact incase of an emergency.

HOW WE USE THE INFORMATION

We may use your information specifically for the following purposes: to provide your name and location to emergency responders; to provide your location to your employer or school; to provide customer support; to meet legal requirements; to provide Internet security; and/or to analyze the collected information and use this data for contacts by research firms.
